Creating a body of work that is equally exciting and repulsive. This work is in realms of glamour, body horror, sci-fi, BDSM and Fetish.

“Eye Candy (Brain Cavity)”

• Retro Pinup posters depicting advertisements for a malicious corporation. The product is sold as a curative, one size fits all solution to all of life’s problems.

• Video shorts delivered as found footage left over from interviews with the models. They discuss how the product has enhanced their lives. Intercut with the real dialog where they discuss the traumatic experiences with the corporation and the product. Vivid descriptions of nightmares and hallucinations.

• Slime photo and video. Slime is a key product of the corporation.

“Synthesis”

• Cosmic/Eldritch Horror inspired landscapes built from an eclectic collage of skulls and oddities. Featuring humanoid shapes in agony.

• Human/machine hybrids. I use a large collection of cabling, pipes, smoke and lights to create depictions of humanoids connected to the machine. This may be the source of the slime.

• Captains Log style videos of humans who have escaped the machine. Dark, Whirring Fans and Colourful LED’s Depicting disassociation and withdrawal since breaking free. They discuss the dreams they had when hooked into the machine.
